Erika Labrum - Instructor
Growing up in the Air Force, Erika had the opportunity to train at many dance studios across the country starting at age 5. Her work in choreography began at 14 when she started assisting for her competitive dance company in Eagle River, Alaska. Her sophomore year of high school, she moved to Wichita, Kansas where she danced for one of the top ranked competitive dance companies in the Midwest. While there, she participated in multiple ballet productions, even securing her dream role of Mother Ginger in The Nutcracker. She went on to teach at her local recreation center, choreograph high school-level show choir, conduct multiple master classes and workshops training dancers and actors for auditions, and choreographed two award winning productions of Aida and The Drowsy Chaperone. After moving to Logan, Utah to attend cosmetology school, Erika worked as the director of ballet as well as a lyrical choreographer for the Edge Dance Company. Along with traditional studio styles of dance, Erika has had the opportunity to train in Hula, African, and Latin dance. Above all, her passion lies in teaching, choreography, and helping students reach their full potential.
